Beat the Streets Tampa Bay
BTS Tampa Bay is the local chapter of Beat the Streets National.
Beat the Streets Tampa Bay empowers youth through wrestling, mentoring, and community engagement. We harness the power of the sport to build character, resilience, and opportunity for young people across the Tampa Bay area—on and off the mat.
To create a thriving network of student-athletes across Tampa Bay who are equipped to lead lives of purpose, success, and service—using wrestling as a catalyst for personal growth, academic achievement, and social mobility.
Who is wrestling for?
We strive to provide a safe, inclusive environment where every person, regardless of skill level, gender, race, ethnic background, religious beliefs, sexual orientations, or physical abilities will be accepted and appreciated. Wrestling is fun, but it is also a difficult sport; any person willing to come to practice and do the work will earn, and be shown, the proper respect. We are excited to welcome all to our community.
Beat the Streets Tampa Bat currently operates out of five locations including four different Boys and Girls Club locations: Belmont Heights, Riverview, Pinellas Park, and Northside St. Pete and the Univeristy Area Community Development Center.
